CasperCoach vs BeMo: Which CASPer Prep Fits You?

Updated By Mahad Farooq · Founder, CasperCoach
Disclosure: CasperCoach wrote this comparison, and we compete with BeMo. We are not affiliated with BeMo, use no affiliate links and did not buy a BeMo package. BeMo details come from its public CASPer page, checked October 23, 2026. Please verify anything that matters to you directly with BeMo.

CasperCoach and BeMo solve different problems. CasperCoach is a self-serve AI practice platform: you answer timed CASPer-style scenarios and get an instant, strict rating with written feedback, for a published one-time price. BeMo is a consulting company offering personalized, human-led CASPer coaching, with pricing set after a free strategy call. If you want volume and speed at a known cost, CasperCoach fits. If you want a human coach and are comfortable with a custom quote, BeMo may fit better.

Price and transparency

CasperCoach publishes one price: $49 USD, paid once, for 90 days of full access, with no subscription or auto-renewal. You can try 3 rated scenarios first without a card.

BeMo's CASPer prep page does not show a standard price. It asks you to book a free strategy call and describes a personalized plan. In our earlier BeMo CASPer prep review, BeMo's pricing guide said fees are customized based on the services and sessions selected. Custom pricing can be reasonable for one-to-one coaching, but it means you should get a written quote before committing, including the total cost, number of human-reviewed answers, access length and refund conditions.

BeMo's page also advertises a satisfaction guarantee and a money-back promise. Read the linked policies carefully, because guarantees usually have conditions. No prep company, including us, can guarantee how Acuity's raters or a school will judge you.

Feedback: instant AI rating vs human coaching

This is the real difference between the two.

  • CasperCoach rates every answer from 1 to 5 on a deliberately strict rubric and explains strengths, missing perspectives and concrete next steps within seconds. Because feedback is instant and unlimited during access, you can do many repetitions in one evening. The trade-off: it is AI, so it can miss nuance and cannot talk through your reasoning with you. See how CasperCoach rates answers.
  • BeMo says consultants review your work and provide professional feedback, which can catch things an automated rater misses and help with confidence and delivery. The trade-off is cost per reviewed answer and scheduling around sessions.

Neither gives an official score. CASPer is scored by trained human raters and standardized against your applicant pool, which no practice tool can reproduce. For a broader look at human help, see our CASPer tutor guide.

Format and realism

Acuity's About Casper page describes the current standard test as 4 video scenarios and 7 typed scenarios, with two questions each, one minute per video response and 3.5 minutes for both typed responses. CasperCoach's practice modes and full mock follow that structure, with an optional 30-second reflection before video responses, plus a shorter Australian Teacher Education profile.

When we reviewed BeMo in August 2026, its sales page described simulations in an older format. Its October 23 public page does not describe the simulation format, so ask BeMo which format your package uses. Practising the wrong timing can build habits that hurt on test day; see our 2026–27 format guide.

Which should you choose?

CasperCoach is likely the better fit if:

  • you want to practise under the real clock many times before your test date;
  • your main problems are running out of time, vague answers or missing perspectives;
  • you want a known, one-time cost; or
  • your test is soon and you need feedback tonight, not after a booked session.

BeMo may be the better fit if:

  • you specifically want a human coach and live conversation about your answers;
  • you want broader admissions help, such as interviews or applications, from one company; and
  • you have reviewed a written quote and its terms and the cost fits your budget.

Some applicants combine approaches: lots of self-serve timed practice, plus one or two sessions with a human reviewer near the end. Our platform rankings and is CASPer prep worth it? guide cover other options.

Start with the free options either way

Acuity's preparation page says you do not need paid preparation and offers a free official practice test once you reserve your CASPer. It also says Acuity does not endorse third-party preparation. Take the official practice test first to learn the interface, then decide what you are missing. Our free CASPer practice test guide and sample questions cost nothing. If you then want rated practice, try CasperCoach's 3 free scenarios before paying for anything, from us or anyone else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is CasperCoach cheaper than BeMo?+

CasperCoach costs $49 USD once for 90 days. BeMo does not publish a standard CASPer price on its public page; pricing follows a free strategy call. Ask BeMo for a written quote to compare.

Does BeMo or CasperCoach give official CASPer scores?+

Neither. Official CASPer scores come only from Acuity Insights' trained raters and are standardized against your applicant pool. Practice ratings are a training signal.

No. CasperCoach uses an AI evaluator with a strict rubric. If you need one-to-one human coaching, a consultant or tutor may suit you better.
