CASPer practice with a correction loop

CASPer AI feedback that tells you what to practise next

Answer a realistic written or video scenario, review the reasoning your response made visible, and apply one focused correction to a fresh prompt. That practice loop turns feedback into a skill.

No card required. Practice feedback is not an official Acuity Insights score.

Example review flow

1

Strength

You protected immediate safety and avoided making an unsupported accusation.

2

Missing consideration

Your answer did not explain how you would verify the facts privately.

3

Next drill

On the next scenario, state what you know, what you do not know, and how you would close that gap.

What CASPer AI feedback should evaluate

Useful feedback evaluates the response you actually gave. It should point to visible evidence, explain what is missing, and recommend a correction precise enough to test on the next scenario.

Reasoning

Does the answer explain why an action is appropriate instead of merely naming an action?

Perspective-taking

Does it consider the people affected, including facts that are still unknown?

Judgment

Does it balance safety, fairness, privacy, policy, and proportional escalation?

Communication

Is the response direct, organized, respectful, and specific enough to act on?

The practice loop: attempt, inspect, correct, transfer

Do not repeatedly rewrite one answer until it looks polished. CASPer asks you to transfer judgment and communication skills to unfamiliar situations, so the correction belongs on a new prompt.

  1. Step 1

    Attempt

Use the real section timer and answer without outside help.

  2. Step 2

    Inspect

Compare the feedback with the words and reasoning actually present.

  3. Step 3

    Correct

Choose one omission or structural problem—not five at once.

  4. Step 4

    Transfer

Apply that correction to a different scenario under time pressure.

Written and video feedback train different constraints

Written practice tests how you divide a shared 3.5-minute clock across two questions. Video practice tests whether you can organize and deliver each response within one minute. The judgment may overlap, but the execution does not.

Know the limits of practice estimates

CasperCoach can provide a consistent practice estimate, but it cannot reproduce Acuity Insights' official human-rating process or predict how a specific school will use your result. Treat an estimate as a progress signal, not a credential or guarantee.

For official information, use Acuity Insights' guides to the rating process and quartile results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can AI grade an official CASPer test?+

No. Only Acuity Insights and its trained raters score the official CASPer test. CasperCoach evaluates practice responses so you can identify strengths, omissions, and a useful next drill; its feedback and quartile estimates are not official scores.

Does CasperCoach give feedback on video responses?+

Yes. You can practise written and video-response scenarios. Video practice is designed to help you review the substance and organization of a spoken answer while building comfort with the one-minute response window.

What should useful CASPer feedback include?+

Useful feedback should name the reasoning visible in your answer, identify a specific missed perspective or trade-off, and give you one correction to apply on a fresh scenario. A generic score without evidence is much less actionable.

Is CASPer AI feedback free?+

CasperCoach includes three free practice scenarios with feedback and does not require a card. Full Access is a one-time $49 payment for 90 days of unlimited scenarios and feedback, with no subscription or auto-renewal.

Is ChatGPT the same as a CASPer practice platform?+

No. A general chatbot can discuss an answer, but a dedicated practice platform adds realistic scenario delivery, current section timers, consistent review criteria, attempt history, and a repeatable practice loop. Whichever tool you use, never treat an AI estimate as an official CASPer result.
