What each costs for your prep window
Because one is a single payment and the other is billed on a schedule, the gap depends on how long you prepare:
- One week, test is close: CasperCoach US$49. Confetto's free first week costs $0 if you cancel in time, or $99 for a second week.
- Three to four weeks, the most common window: CasperCoach US$49. Confetto $199 for a month, or $297 for three separate weeks.
- Two months or more: CasperCoach US$49 (access lasts 90 days). Confetto $398 for two months of Casper Prep on its own.
If you are also preparing for interviews, the math changes. Confetto includes Casper Prep at no extra cost in its interview plans: $149 a week, $299 a month, or $579 billed yearly (about $48 a month). For someone who needs both CASPer and MMI practice in the same cycle, that bundle can cost less than buying two separate tools. See our full CASPer prep cost comparison for other providers.
How the feedback differs
Confetto scores each answer from 1 to 9, shows a stronger rewrite of your own words, ranks the changes worth the most, and gives an estimated quartile. A rewrite makes it easy to see what a better version sounds like. The risk is that you start copying a polished phrasing instead of fixing your own reasoning.
CasperCoach gives each answer a strict rating from 1 to 5 with three sections: genuine strengths, specific gaps and concrete suggestions. The rubric is deliberately tough: a 3 is adequate, and a generic answer with no stakeholders or concrete action cannot score above 2. It tells you what is missing but leaves the rewrite to you, which is the step most of the improvement comes from. Our CasperCoach guide explains the rubric.
Both are AI rubrics, not CASPer raters. Real CASPer answers are rated by trained human raters and standardized against your applicant pool, so treat any practice score or estimated quartile as a direction, not a prediction. See who grades CASPer.
When Confetto is the better pick
- You want to practise MMI or panel interviews too, and would use the interview plan that includes Casper Prep.
- You learn best by seeing a rewritten version of your answer.
- You want lots of video-scene prompts (Confetto lists 165).
- Your test is within a week, and you can do all your prep inside the free trial and cancel before billing.
When CasperCoach is the better pick
- You want one known total (US$49) and nothing to cancel.
- You are preparing for more than a week, where weekly or monthly billing adds up.
- You want strict, gap-focused feedback that makes you do the rewrite yourself.
- You only need CASPer, not interview prep.
You can try both before paying: CasperCoach's 3 free rated scenarios need no card, and Confetto starts with a free week.
Using either tool well
- Take Acuity's free official practice test first. Acuity says users of its practice test tend to do better than people who use third-party prep, and it does not endorse any prep company, including both of these.
- Do a few timed scenarios and write down the two gaps that keep coming up.
- After every scored answer, rewrite one response in your own words before starting a new one.
- Take one full timed mock about a week before your test to check stamina and pacing.
